Capricorn Highway (Duaringa–Emerald), undertake road safety improvements

The Capricorn Highway is a key freight route and supports a wide range of industries including agriculture, resources and mining. It plays an important role in connecting Rockhampton with central and western communities in Queensland.

The project has delivered approximately 4.3km of safety improvements on the Capricorn Highway between Bonnie Doon Road and Corkscrew Creek.

The safety upgrade included pavement widening, sealing, wide centre line treatment, audio tactile line marking and improved drainage.

Funding
