Richmond - Winton Road, strengthen and widen pavement
The Queensland Government has improved all weather access, travel reliability and safety along Richmond — Winton Road by widening and strengthening this section.
This project adds to our long-term strategy to upgrade and seal significant roads in north Queensland, supporting regional communities and industries.
These works widened, strengthened and upgraded 10.3km of priority sections along Richmond — Winton Road. Flood immunity has also been improved with the progressive sealing 5.6km of unsealed road and the replacement of drainage structures and floodways.
