Next steps
High-quality wayfinding signage helps make it easier and more convenient for people to ride and to get where they want to go by bicycle.
Focal points are used to plan cycle route signage and are listed on signs within the cycle network. A focal point is a destination where routes join, cross or end.
Implementation of this action is dependent on the development of the updated and consolidated Queensland Principal Cycle Network and Priority Route Maps being delivered through Queensland Cycling Action Plan 2020–2022.
Delivery of this action has been carried forward to Action 1.19 in the Queensland Cycling Action Plan 2020–2022.
