Deliver training and assessment for a multi-combination licence
You must apply to be recognised as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) to deliver training and assessment for a multi-combination licence in Queensland.
The Department of Transport and Main Roads recognises Queensland RTOs to deliver Drive Multi-Combination Vehicle (TLIC4006), which is a nationally recognised unit in the TLI Transport and Logistics Training Package.
Skills and knowledge
TLIC4006 teaches what is needed to operate a multi-combination vehicle safely. This includes:
- maintaining systematic and efficient control of all vehicle functions
- coupling and uncoupling dollies
- monitoring traffic and road conditions
- managing vehicle condition and performance
- handling hazardous situations effectively.
