Operator accreditation responsibilities
As an accredited operator, you have key responsibilities to ensure the safe and compliant operation of passenger transport services. You must meet and maintain these responsibilities at all times. This includes complying with safety duties under passenger transport legislation to protect the safety of passengers, drivers, and the public.
For more information about your safety obligations, refer to the Safety management framework for road-based public passenger services webpage. Failure to meet operator accreditation responsibilities may result in enforcement action, including the amendment, suspension, or cancellation of your accreditation.
